There were four matches on Day 3 of the 2007 Rugby World Cup - Wales vs Canada, South Africa vs Samoa, Scotland vs Portugal and Ireland vs Namibia. There were not the runaway scores that happened on Day 2.
We shall also discuss some incidents from these three matches.
We give some Rugby World Cup stats accumulatively.
Sanctionary Cards
Carl Hayman of New Zealand became the first recipient of a yellow card. He was not the only one.
On day three there was just one - flank João Uva of Portugal.
